Leverage The Secret

I thought I'd share what I'm doing right now specifically for my blog promotion...

I have my blog automatically ping this site: http://pingomatic.com/

Which automatically pings:

I make sure my blogs are listed in all the Blog Directories.

I use BlogAnnouncerPro to make this an easy submission process.

I also have setup a blogger account (cos Google releases their spiders on blogger cos they own it) Although I'm yet to take my own advice and setup one for The Secret / SGR program, but I will now that I'm writing this lol.

And in my "MyYahoo", I have put all my feeds on my page (cos Yahoo releases their spiders on that cos they own it)

I post all my "good" helpful blogs to my twitter account. (I also promote my twitter url in wiki's and everywhere that it's appropriate to do so.. and I also ask everyone I speak with if they have twitter and if they haven't, I tell them how awesome it is!)

I post all my "good" helpful blogs to my facebook account. By using the awesome facebook tool "Blog RSS Feed Reader", which automatically pulls down my feeds into facebook, I then enter it, and can then "select" different posts that I want to place on my profile.. which automatically gets fed to all my friends news wall, and if it is a subject that takes their fancy, they'll click on it there too.

If I have a helpful blog about twitter for example, I'll post the link in my facebook twitter group. Also, twitter automatically updates my facebook status, my myspace profile, and my blogs.

Wordpress blogs do well so well in google, I have one setup for my other businesses (and accidently became the #2 affiliate in a program I didnt promote except for writing a bunch of blogs "1 day!"), but need to setup one for the secret soon. I have a few self-hosted wordpress blogs which do awesome in google searches, so I try to post to them daily, or do a big "update" on weekends, where I post up to 3 days worth at once.

You might be interested to know where my traffic comes from.. in google analytics for the past week, 1/3 of my traffic came from Facebook, 1/3 came from Twitter, and the rest from Google Searches and Direct traffic (people typing in leveragethesecret.com) - considering this site is only a few weeks old, it's getting great traffic, and it's because of everything I teach in the steps!

It's time-consuming work.. it will take 3 weeks to do all the lessons, but after the work is done.. you can concentrate on building relationships and befriending people which is the fun part, and then updating the blogs, creating an article every now and then, creating new videos every now and then, etc. so the hard work is getting everything automated, to maximise your time so that when you post something, it's noticed all over the place.
