Leverage The Secret

This is so vitally important to your long term success and not many people are talking about right now. Facebook is all about developing relationships and connecting powerfully with others, through video , through your pictures, through your posts, through your comments, through your positive nature, whatever it is, the ways you are connecting with your fellow friends, your audience, Facebook is the venue where it is really important that we focus first on relationships and second on deals.

People are going for the quick buck, the get rich quick attitude where they are just going and posting on wall without anything of value to say and including their links and when you click on them “boom” the picture opens up and it's just this big mess all over your wall. Can you think of anything more annoying, so the last thing you want to do is post just blatant stuff up on peoples walls, to copy and to paste and to make general stuff. This is the place to really get personal with your audience, so really focus on getting to know them.

Think relationships first, not quick deals, be sure to provide value and quality.

Make sure you are consistent with your marketing, keep on adding targeted friends each day and continue to grow your base.

Facebook is such a fantastic way to create strategic referral
partners and joint vestures.

Take your list and go and find these people and connect with them, find out all about them, the first step is go to their wall and post something complimentary, look over their site, look at their pictures, look at their videos, look at their kids names, really get to know these people, get as close as possible. Now say something complimentary that you know will make a difference to them, say something that is important to them, maybe about an award that they won or a course that they are teaching, whatever...., connect with them and what you are going to find is that most likely they are going to email you straight away wanting to get to know you, and most likely they have already checked out your profile because you have gone directly to their wall.

On that note, the closest networking I've had with people on facebook, has been those, whom, when I've checked out their sites, their blogs, their videos, their booklist etc, and found something that I can relate to them with, and put that on the wall.. my first post on someone's wall is about them, and how I can relate to them, or a greeting if they don't have much on there to work with :)

I'm genuinely interested in meeting new people, so following their travels around the internet to see what they are made of, is part of getting to know someone :)

Create a dream team, or dream list of everybody and anybody who
you could have at your fingertips, all the people you would like to have in your network, people you admire
eg Deepak Chopra, Richard Branson, Eckhart Tolle, Anthony Robbins, Oprah

Start to create your list, go and find them by typing their name in the search field, become a fan, send them a message and invite them to become your friend, do about 10 per day and soon your list will grow in quantity and quality.
